    look, if you really don't like the idea of vehicles because you are some holed up COD nerd, I'm sure if Ben would implement vehicles he would put a option somewhere for server admins to allow or not allow certain types of vehicles or no vehicles at all.
    Vehicles is what gives the sense of a true and realistic war, imagine for just one moment. The buildings around you are crumbling, jets whizz by your head locked in a immense dogfight, the blades of a humming helicopter drops in paratroopers as reinforcements as they blast away their RPG's at the nearby enemy tank suppressing your allies, a massive wave of enemy AA artillery booms ahead as a jeep rolls by telling you to get on the 50 cal.
    ^That, my friends, is a true war. (try Battlefield 3)

    I am 99% sure this has been mentioned and 100% sure I am going to get trolled for this but

    Walking across a huge map trying to flank the enemy is a complete pain. I understand how every state is a complete different KV6 file, but I would recommend when holding shift+W/A/D the player would get a slight increase in speed. The gun would slightly bob up and down more noticeably and such.

    for Vehicles, I 100% know this has been mentioned but here are some more technical ideas on Vehicles.

    Vehicle Factory:
    If anyone here ever tried a RTS game you would know what I mean, a factory churns out a vehicle in every given amount of time.
    Maybe a system like homefront: You get Vehicles by getting kills/objectives
    Get selection screen after being killed. (respawn screen, similar to homefront) Vehicles have special textures on them so only your team can mount, or maybe both sides can mount after driver is dead.

    Tanks: KV6 file, Rotatable turret on Z axis, main gun rotatable on X/Y Axis. Heavy Armor, taken down by grenades. Mount on with E key. A slight window in the front so the driver can be taken down by snipers and such.
    Up to 2 people inside. 1 driver/main cannon. 1 co axis machine gunner
    Weapons:90mm main cannons. slow reload speed.
    50. CAL mount machine gun with high recoil and 50 bullets.
    Uses: mobile artillery, anti vehicle/infantry. may lead to griefing.
    Can climb up to 1 block high

    Jeeps/Humvees. Static KV6 files, mount with E, up to 3 people, one driver, one machine gunner (3 axis rotation, limit/cap on X/Y axis) One passenger. Possibly in the back or co driver seat as gunner with standard weapon.
    Driver/Passenger can be shot through windows by enemies, Gunner can be shot with rear exposed, also can crouch inside turret.
    Weapons:Passenger standard weapons. 50 CAL. mount machine guns, high recoil, low ammo (50) slow reload.
    For anti-infantry/transport
    Can climb up to 1 block high

    In the near future?

    ATV.

    LAV.

    BOATS

    HELICOPTERS

    JETS!!!!

    Helicopters such as Blackhawk transports or Apache/Hind Attack Helis?

    Blackhawks I like more in my option, have 2 Dillion miniguns on the side and up to 6 players inside. Players can paradrop out when the Heli is low.

    with all this vehicle stuff, we need some RPG's and TOW's

    Only planes.

    And very small spawning hangars, maybe a voxel or two bigger than tent. Can't be built, can't be moved, spawn randomly as current tents.

    Planes can only take off flat terrain though, so that means flattening/building airstrips.

    Just clarifying this, I do like COD in any way, in fact I hate it. The only FPS game I will ever love is Battlefield and AoS.

    And planes are always a set distance from the ground, so they can't move on the Z axis. In world war one, pilots had to lob bombs over the side of their planes -.-

    I actually think tanks could really add to this game if they required a crew to operate instead of just one person (driver and main gun operator required, plus an optional machine-gunner and possibly a passenger). They definitely need to wait until after we get better admin controls and registration, though. The griefing potential is immense.

    Look guys, things need to fall into place. You dont take a game in early development that has only really added 1, ONE single weapon so far and add vehicles and way out of place things. First, the game would need to go through many more stages of dev. with many things inbetween. See, things like medics arent too far out. They would fit into gameplay perfectly, but may require a few more small things like waypoints on the map, and callouts to teammates such as 'assistance needed at C7' to fit them in well.

    Airplanes, ships, and tanks suddenly jumping into the game would not fit in at all. Most maps terrain wouldnt even really be accepting of such things.

    This is not cod, this is not bfbc2 (though i wish it was), this is Ace Of Spades, minecraft with guns.

    Vehicles sound good, I don't think sprinting is really necessary though. Imagine boats on Pinpoint.

    not sprinting, but I likes vehicles. Always wanted to fly a plane in this game, and then do crazy shit with a jeep.

    As I've said, there is a reward system you must have for vehicles, etc. get 20 kills, get a ATV or a JEEP/HUMVEE. Capture the intel, get a tank. etc. So vehicles don't just spawn for some idle ass griefer. Vehicles would also bring teamwork into the game,

    Example: A Helicopter pilot flys the plane, defenseless, and his machine gunners on the 2 side ports help clear the LZ so the paradroppers can Capture the intel.

    A main cannon of the tank is horrible against infantry with RPGs, nades and such with it's slow reload speed. That's why his co-axis machine gunner needs to support him.

    I say we should have sprinting. Getting from one point of the map to the other end is a complete pain.

    And for course, we all want to run over griefers with a jeep or tank? Be my guest. Grand theft auto ftw.
