    There is no more skill in this game. I'll admit it, my luck totally fucking blows which is exactly why I use secure tactics to get the drop on people, and I find this fun as hell to pretty much slaughter an idiot who can't figure out that the open hole he's walked past four or five times is where I've been hiding.

    Now, I'm very, VERY tired of lining up headshot after headshot only to see that my shots produce no bloodspray or they don't kill. I play with >>15<< latency to the server I connect to. This means that I'm pretty much exactly where I look like I am and my shots are read by the server at the same time my ears pick up the audio. Between the latency of our sandcastle cousins on the other side of the world and the terrible spread of the rifle, and my total shit luck, I find myself extremely frustrated.

    I used to enjoy dominating bads, but now I can fire 4 headshots on my screen at a still target and miss all four, yet his one pop shot kills me. That's not skill, that's proven RNG, and RNG makes great games into garbage.

    I'd like to add that we complained about the unrealisticness of the SMG's recoil earlier in 0.54, and I'd like to point out that WWII rifles were accurate to 400 or 500 yards. The Fog of War in game is roughly 100 or 120 yards. Why can't the rifle be as realistic as the SMG?

    An idiot has spoken. The game uses a random number generator to place your shots at a certain point amongst a choice of options in the spread. Each point has a number and a number is chosen at random. RNG.

    If WWII rifles could actuallly shoot in AoS to 400-500 yards/without the fog,
    spawncamping would be easy as fuck and builders are dead before placing a block.
    If hit spread misses try aiming from a different angle or shooting again. Ben just wants safe gameplay by putting things server-side and if this happens, so be it. It's his game.

    I still think you're shit, bro. My favorite thing to do after I grenaded myself to get more rounds was slaughter campers. I killed them all before I set out to ambush another 47 or so faggots.

    Ben knows of the situation.
    Currently the cone is based on rand() :S
    I believe he is planning a new idea for cones, which should make headshots a bit more common again.

    I agree wholeheartedly with the OP.

    I guess it's going to be remedied slightly though. While the rifle's cone of fire might be lowered (I wish it would be removed entirely, but this is not my game), people with massive ping are still going to have an advantage (as client-side hit detection is a thing of the past).

    Unless of course, you play on a Pyspades server.
