  • BT Home Hub 3.0 (needs some help port forwarding correctly)

    ok ive got the bt home hub 3.0 and i cant port forward it i tried the same way i did with 2.1 but it doesn't work unless its something to do with my fire wall because i reformatted my pc a couple of days after we got the 3.0 ????

    can any one help me ???

    You need to go to Settings, enter the admin password, then go to advanced settings, then port forwarding, then supported applications, then "add new game or application".

    Make sure protocol is UDP, and ranges are 32887-32887 & 32887-32887.

    Click Apply, then go back to the Configuration section and select your AOS rule you just added from the list (e.g. mine was called AoS Server), then pick your serving device, then "add".

    Job done. make sure your computer you're hosting from doesn't have a firewall.

    Worked fine for me until I moved my server to a dedicated place.

    i dont want to get rid of my anti virus firewall is it possible just to let the server through the fire wall on my pc...

    ps that would i did last time but without shutting down my fire wall thanks :)
