I mean, even if you read the comments for the News Post about it, no one even posts explaining why they chose sniper, most of the people are just saying 'don't pick this for the shit of me', most of the posts are about melee or shotgun, I don't even think 10 of the 90 comments are about why we should add a sniper rifle, and I think that's a good way to tell a sniper rifle is -not- what the community wants.

It's plainly obvious. I mean I know the generic bulk of AoS is filled with morons and sleptards (made that one up, get at me, bro) but they're not -that- stupid.

The only way a sniper rifle would work is if you debuffed rifle, again, and made the sniper as good as the rifle used to be, but with a smaller clip, and a slower shooting speed. And that wouldn't be much of an addition at all, that would just be like subtracting if you had two bank accounts with the same interest rates, and you take 50 dollars out of one, and put it in another.
