How do you perm blocks?

Exactly how do you do it? I have seen huge towers that are permed, and I tried hosting a server, and making a whole tower, but it still wouldn't perm? Can somebody help me?

I mean by perming so the blocks are indestructible.

use pyspades and put everyone in god mode i think

Nope, its annoying because I want to change my server a little, but greifers/griefers always come in and destroy it.
