Teleporting: When it happens, you get teleported several blocks away, sometimes to where you were a couple seconds ago, sometimes to a different floor of a building or off a cliff. It's not just something that happens because of lag, because it's happened to me while playing on my own server. Complicated Rifle Aiming: OK, I understand the appeal of having to compensate for bullet drop, wind speed, air resistance, relative humidity, and the Coriolis effect, but if I really wanted all that I'd go to the range with a RealGun. When I first started playing AoS back in April, one of the main attractions was how pure and simple shooting was. If the guy was lined up with your sights, your shot would connect. End of story. With the .54 update, that simplicity is gone. You can't tell if the other player is some sort of Sniping Ace or just lucky, and you have to awkwardly maneuver so that you can crouch and see the target if you want a chance of hitting anything. I know this is a bit late, but these seem like pretty major issues to me. Let me know if you think they make the game less fun. |

I rarely teleport, but it's still annoying as all hell when it does happen. What I am absolutely fucking sick of is when you see an enemy out in the open and you waste half a clip on him, just to have him teleport 10 feet backwards and blast you in one shot. God... And yeah, the random firing cone is annoying too, and it's sad to know that we will never see the pin-point accurate rifle again. |

We will see the un-nerfed rifle again. And the rifles accuracy is great right now. Crouch, aim, and shot once. Dont spam the shots unless he is close to you. |

Ah. I actually like that a tad bit more. You can't just unload a clip at somebody from long range, you need to have skill. |

I think he's hoping for a dynamic crosshairs and accuracy, where the first shot is on the mark and as you keep firing a cone develops and when you stop there is a cooldown and such. |

Ah, the ol' weapon bloom. We meet again. New pro-tip: Fire in bursts to help maintain accuracy rather than spray. You'll know your mistake if done otherwise. |

Of course. The problem arises when good ol' server-side hit verification decides to kick in. You fire your first shot directly at someone's head. It hits them and blood sprays...yet nothing happens. Then when/if you try to catch him with another quick round to the face, it misses its mark (due to the widening cone). That leaves the enemy with enough time to land one right on your face. The upcoming cone would have worked perfectly prior to 0.53/0.54 when everything was still client side. But with the current game mechanics, I have my doubts... |

Actually,the only time I "teleport",is when there's people with bad connection or if the server hasn't been reset in a while. |

I "teleport" whenever I have crappy connection. Yeah, it's definitely a bitch. I wish the client-side hit verification was back. I think Sue's right on the accuracy thing, IIRC. |

A temporary fix for the firing cone problem is to aim slightly below the head (around chin level) as it seems to work for me. |

What Joseph mentioned is a well-known tactic; aim slightly below the "point" on what ever sight/scope you are using. That usually leads to at least a stomach/chest shot. |

Odd... you people are finding the cone is something that heavily affects gameplay. I've been playing since April, too. Do I miss the pinpoint rifle accuracy? No, I barely see or notice a difference. Maybe it's because couldn't play the game all of June 'cause my computer was being stupid... |

Why? It's a free game. This is not a large game development studio, and he doesn't need to do anything as he's not after your cash. The only time I'd like him to address an issue is if there's a general consensus about a particular issue (ie- cone of fire). I, for one, like the idea for the new cone of fire, and I'm looking forward to .55. |

Megadeuce, generally Im on the same page as you. This time is not an exception. Since the last update Ive been playing significantly less specifically due to these. Priority number one. I know these have been said before many times but it is critical to me. Ben please fix this as soon as possible, no need to wait for the shotgun to be finished. |

One thing to add is that some players suggest the cone is good for gameplay because being in cover gives you an advantage. While I agree that players in cover should be at an advantage, this is not the way to do it. Luck based gameplay is very unsatisfying. |

it could also mean that he has the ability to curve a bullet i think the cone is sort of nice, but it should probably be reduced a little bit, if a sniper rifle is not added |
