Now, down to busisnes, when .55 comes out.....

1) Do not make multiple threads about "OH NOEY!! THE SOOTGUN IS SOOO OVERPWRD THE GAME IS POOPY AND UNPLYABLEEE!! NOOO!!! PISSS!!1!"

2) Do not immediately start concluding the shotgun is crap and should be removed after you get killed by it

3) DO NOT start making threads saying "game was wayy better pre beta .55 yeh now its total ballz"

4) Use some common freakin sense and dont spam the forums with shit, instead of making a thread regarding the shotty etc, go to an existing one and talk about it there.

A lil info

1) rifle accuracy has been increased once more

2) smg accuracy has been increased, for mid range use

3) the shotgun will now replace the smg at close quarters, and form the vid it looks lethal at 0-30 blocks.

4) Fog density and colour can now be manipulated

^^^ NOTE: this is not the installer for .55 its only the kv6 etc for the weapon. It wont work as a shogun in game only the semi or smg.

Some info on the shotgun:

1) The shotgun shoots 6 pellets

2) each pellet does 24 damage to the chest

3) accuracy is good for around 30 blocks

4) it hold 6 shells in a magazine and has the same total ammo as the semi.

Ben said in the video number 2 "if you think i should hold up on release till we have more content, let me know" at least I think it was ben. If it was, ben, releasing that as 0.55 is absolutely fine, having more frequent but smaller updates is way more exciting and immersive then waiting ages for a larger update. Trust me on that.

When I saw the filters added to the game, I got excited about all of the possible ways they could be used. I am thinking something like black and white gameplay or inverted colors, cool stuff like that. But, most likely it will just be cool colored fog.

Any way, on to the shotgun. It functions close to what I was expecting, maybe a little too accurate, but that is just me. My biggest complaint about the shotgun is the default sights he added. I would have used something different, but then again that's just me.

Over all, I would say I am fine with this update. It is a nice step forward and shows that Ben pays attention to his community.

Looks like the shotgun is good at griefing BUT it still doesnt pass the SMG in that ill explain why: The shotgun launches 6 pellets when shot and they will not get that far from each other so when they all hit the block at the same time causing it to get destroyed but it cant be used super fast like the SMG so the shotty doesnt pass the SMG on the griefing (im saying this so people dont use the shotty when trying to destroy enemys base but yes use the SMG, still the shotty is the best at charging and shall be used) That's what i understand of shotty's griefing cappabilitty :3

Honestly, it doesn't look all that good for a shotgun where the sights tend to more simplistic.

I feel like that kill at :20 was either real good luck, or the shotgun is overpowered judging by the fog distance.

The gun defiantly needs an arm added, and some better sights. Also, is there a new target or is that just me?

@Dynasty, not really the spread fro a normal pump action Remington at 30 feet is only 8 inches. Firing buckshot anyhow.

The shotgun seems to excel in power and grief potential over the SMG.
Or am I wrong?

your wrong how is it better then the smg it only holds 6 shells and is slow fire rate, its much easier to take out a whole line of blocks with the smg and therefore take down a building quicker.

Ben siad hat it shoots 6 pellets, each is a hitscan.
Chest - 24 hp damage

A single shot is all it takes to break a block and it's firing rate is faster than the semi.

Atleast, that's what I'm seeing with those people breaking those trees in Normandie.
