There is a few things that AoS could live without, but having them would be a little better. What, in my opinion, should be added:
A menu linked to the esc key
Different models for each team
An options menu within the possible main one
A font color changer for ingame text
And more sound effects.

Ive thought the same thing and agree to it all. When you press esc it should give you the servers name too.
Each gun should have its own tracer too, and maybe muzzle flash from guns/nades.

I like all of those, and I especially agree with the separate player models.

Any way to make the text more visible is good, too.

Definitely yes to the menu. If text had some kind of background or border to it then the colours would be fine. I wouldn't mind more sound effects, but I definitely think we need different hit sounds for the different weapons.
