Pyspades "open sources" need to be more open. Right now, all we can do is change passwords, server name and so on which isn't enough for advanced python coders. Access to the commands to change them fully to your liking. Need to be able to give a certain rank, certain commands. I code java and most open source things I have coded are truely open source.

pyspades IS truly-open source. In fact, it's as "open-source" as it can get with its GPL license. I'm rather close to what people call an "open-source hippie", so I like things that are truly open-source too. Maybe you didn't check out the source repository here -> http://code.google.com/p/pyspades/source/browse/

Even with the win32 build (which I've packed together for silly end-users that can't figure out how to build from source), you can make scripts that COMPLETELY change the protocol/connection classes.

If you're actually just having problems hacking on pyspades, join #pyspades on QuakeNet. We can help you. If you're a good Pythoneer, I might even give you commit rights.

So yeah, please shut up and *actually* go beyond the Downloads page before you speak. Also, on an unrelated and personal note, Java isn't my cup of tea (enterprise and abstract APIs feels like shit for hackers like me). :-)

ORS stands for Official Reddit Server. BooBoo said he can't get his server working so I have a temp server up at the moment
