It was fun as hell.

There was some autist tower a mile away from the action, and a guy decided to grief it. I usually don't care, but I decided to mess with him and so I buried him in blocks. Then, another one joined in on the fun and they both tried to take the tower down for a while, while I fought them off by burying them and teamkilling them. Then a guy from my team joined in to help me fight them off.

Then a guy switched from blue team and started helping the griefers, covering EVERYTHING in random pink blocks. We continued to fight, turning the tower into a misshapen monstrosity. Then someone else logged on and started helping the griefers, bringing it up to four griefers and two defenders.

After that, the fight raged on, and many more joined both sides. The griefers tried to get people to votekick us for burying them in blocks and teamkilling, and we tried to votekick them for griefing, but it was no use. The votekick system is pathetic at times.

In the end we eventually lost to the griefers. We may have lost the tower, but that was the most fun I've had on AoS I've had in a while.

Anyone have similar griefing stories?

Also in the age of cheats there was an huge green effin bridge and all blues were griefing it. (I participated)

At least you had fun with it, and you took the fall of the tower in stride. Rather than the people who follow griefers around and shoot them at the first block they break, and then when they succeed, whine about it and beg for votekicks.

One time I named myself as hahha and These guys had a amazing fort and they were like hahah? where are you, I said I was in the back of the spawn, I tried out Reubens Idea if you grief the bottom of the fort on a hill It would fall SO I did and It was funny when It happened and then they were like who did it and I blamed it on the guy who was AFK, hehehehee ^_^
Later on they did find out it was me but failed to kick me 3 times and I got 2 other people kiced before I got finally kicked

I only grief little autist towers that have no use.

I remember one time on the renaissance town server blue team decided to take down the cathedral. It was so much fun defending, until they all started votekicking green team players. I got kicked, eventually they must've destroyed it. But defending large structures from grief is on of the most fun things you can do in this game.

@Gnome: Now see, that I don't get. People defending pre-built structures. Especially with rollbacks in pyspades, it just seems like you're stopping them for the sake of it. Not to mention that, if you enjoy trying to stop griefers so badly, then by true definition, you'd be the griefer here. :P

bullshit minecraft stuff deserves to be griefed.
