Want to make sound mods, help please.

Hi, I need some help with making sound mods. How to I make them? Do I just extract them from something and replace then with the ones in the game directory?

A small, simple tutorial will do great.s

I've extracted sounds from CSS,it's awesome. Just name the files you like as ingame and replace.
