We have all been thinking that the smg needs a aserious buff.

Well....ben is currently and has been for a lil while now playing in the aloha central old fort map.

He just this second updated his twitter to say:

I dont really. Only when theyre are too many snipers or griefers.

yeah, i guess it is going to be again. i think it is alright now, but maybe more body damage woould help it, or less recoil/spread or something.

Id love to be able to tap the mouse giving out a three round burst, and it be tight enough for all three to hit the chest and kill.

I actually really like the current SMG balance. It's good out to about halfway to the fogline if you know how to shoot, which should be plenty on any good map.

^ you kidding me? the rifle outclasses it by far an pretty much any map. at any range.

MAybe so but in the hands of somebody that knows how to use it its very deeadly. The rifle does out class it , but its not as fun.

Personally, I reckon the SMG's only problem is its poor controlability; either the muzzle climb needs to be toned down or selective fire should be implemented.

Also get rid of the lag on server(not sure if you can), but really because of the lag, I am falling through blocks and teleporting me into them.

I hope he doesnt change the spread/recoil aspect of it, or n00bs will start using it and ruining the fun. I find it fine as it is, but a little damage buff would make it godly. The way it is now though makes you an even better player when you out-gun a rifleman at distance or a shotgunner up close.

The people with rifles allways just own you at any range greater then that.

Maybe Ill uplaod all the great clips I got with it the other day then, to prove my point. It really is a great, fun weapon right now. All it really needs is a 45 round clip.
