  • Gun BUFF!
  •

alot of people have stated the key to balancing the "rifle" vs. the shotgun and SMG is not in nerfing the "rifle" but improving the other two how do we go about that then? two frequent suggestions is to boost the number of pellets to the shot gun and reduce the recoil on the SMG and some even say buff the smg's damage...

more pellets for the shotgun I can second... I say better accuracy as well shotguns are not HUGELY inaccurate as games make them out to be they can and often had have had kill range of 40+ yards then the scatter makes landing significant hits problematic now i am not suggesting that we make it THAT realistic and any one who says i am is a troll but as is can't we buff it to a 8-9 yard kill zone and a 20 yard glancing but generally not fatal hit? whats that translate into per block.. assuming one blocks a meter..
18.3 blocks for a glancing blow and 9.1 blocks for a fatal blow ... ehhh lets keep it up to discussion.

as for the SMG well less recoil i second more damage not so much the SMG has a decent amount damage as is take into account the amount of shots that can be fired per second its about enough to compete with a rifle in terms of body shots that is.. and it is modeled after the popular MP5 an excellent German SMG in my experience the recoil is incredibly manageable IRL and here it has been given a recoil comparable to full powered rifle round not 9x19mm pistol round.
