whats your thoughts on minecraft because i just got it (dont ask how) any tips for a noobie because i almost just died by a thing that looked like a skeliton

The game doesn't have a goal its a sandbox game you can do anything you want.
Heres the noob guide:
1. Punch trees for wood
2. Make a Pickaxe, Sword, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe
3. Build a house
4. Go mine coal and craft torches
5. Go mine Iron then make iron tools
6. Go mine Diamond and then make diamond tools

or just get toomanyitems and singleplayer commands and make the game alot easier for you.
