I have been interested in creating my own Texture Pack for Ace of Spades since I started playing it, but when I use SLAB6 to edit the gun and player, the colors that I select will not show up when I select them. I have no idea why this is, and if anyone knows I would like to know the reason this is happening.

You're right-clicking to select the color from the palette then using space to color the voxels?

Yes that is exactly what I am doing, but the colors wont appear, just a black cube.

Could it be the lighting?

I dont think so I have tried every single color (almost) and none of them have worker, but do you mean screen lighting?

I don't suppose anybody knows how to apply team colors to an object that doesn't have any by default?

actually it automatically sets them, the color just need to be 0 0 0 you can make the reds or blues darker or lighter with the num/arrow keys on the right that nobody usually gives to shits about.
Also occasionally you'll need to set the pivot point to make the skin perfect.

press enter for the color pallet then enter again to turn it off, if you want to set the light (which doesn't affect anything other than confusing the fuck out of you) use those number keys nobody gives a crap about .

If you're talking about how to get the colour of the 'blocks' to change, hit space to set their colour to the one you've selected.
I don't know if this works on the player models though, they may have to be a certain colour for the game to set them green and blue.

the darkest black possible, i assume its coded into the game so it automatically sets that to your team color when you enter a game and press b/g respectively.

I tried and got black grenades instead

it does NOT work for weapons, no matter what. only player skin.
