ok i gat a new laptop about a month ago and ace of spades is laggy

wikkid, saying your internet speed is high speed is relative. some one in the US might think 20 mbps is fast while someone in Japan might think it's slower than a snail. Please give us quantitative information about your speed, not qualitative. It would also help if you told whether or not the connection was off a wireless router or direct Ethernet wire.

Wikkid, I'd say even though AoS does not require many resources, my laptop has a pentium dual core @ 2.00 Ghz, 4 gb of ram, ''1.7'' g or video ram (I think my pc lied to me about that spec), I get AoS crashed sometimes, although the fps is smooth for me(my pc is still slow). One tip would be to talk to your isp and tell them to move on with the rest of the world on those internet speeds. If they start whining that it is somehow impossible, then tell them you are moving back to 1999 for better speeds.

Holy Voxels! Where'd you get a time machine to get that? It might be that your ethernet adapter is busted or you have an american isp...or...Could you be using dial-up?
