Once again I keep getting the "Server timeout: Version mismatch or map transfer fail" error on every single server. I have a fairly quick internet connection and I was playing on these servers last night. I am updated to 0.42 so that isn't it. I read all the help articles. I never had a cheat engine. I have downloaded, uninstalled, reinstalled, and repaired the game. I have disabled my firewall and forwarded the port on my router. I have tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome, I have changed resolutions, changed the color scheme, and pretty much I have tried everything that the articles suggested I do. So if anyone has a better suggestion or knows exactly how to fix this issue I would really appreciate it.

ever install CheatEngine?

I have cheat engine installed and the game runs fine, that can't be the source of the problem

You have to un-install cheatengine and delete a left-over registry
TO DO THAT:
Start>Run>regedit>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT>Delete the .CT folder NOT THE .CTT FOLDER

See, I'm really not sure if you are trolling, or just a complete moron.

Reading off a script , we ask every time.

Then why even post what I have and have not tried if you are just going to ask me things that I have already answered?

Until you change your attitude, I am not going to waste my time trying to help.

I only have this attitude because the people "helping" have only posted things that I have done or are not relevant.

I'm still having these same problems.

I've tried every single fix suggested thus far on the forums. So to list:

1) .42 is installed.

2) I have never had Cheat Engine installed, and to be honest, had never heard of it before coming on here.

3) Tried Repair; reinstall; uninstall and install.

4) Firewall off.

5) Resolutions/colours changed.

I ran dxdiag, no errors found. I changed directories, I tried to run in admin mode and in compatability mode. So far no luck.

I connected to one server last night for about 20 minutes and then got kicked out. Since then I haven't been able to connect.

hmm... it's interesting that you can connect sometimes and not others.
Dxdiag would find out if there's anything visually that might have been wrong, and installing to a different directory might bypass permissions.. However, I would suggest trying to literally cut the folder /ProgramFiles/Ace of Spades/ or whatever onto your desktop and then try and run it. That would remove the possibility of permission errors.

Other than that, it seems you have tried everything else I know of..
