Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/rmpUL.png It took 10 minutes to download, figure out the command line was needed, and that the model was underground. Restored from the original .pk3 (.bsp). Only the model of the map was restored (no original textures). Not sure about the copyrights a.k.a. http://q3a.ath.cx/readme/q3w2.txt, but I'm going to assume they're null after 10+ years of QuakeCons and what not. :) It's possible to import models from other q3a maps, but some are a little harder to harmonize both the model and spawns as a whole map. Drawbacks: - You can't spawn directly in the model, i.e. the model only acts as a connection between both bases, not the base itself. - One could easily tunnel across base-to-base without ever meeting the firefights near the center. - Structures are HUGE, so players are more likely to fall to their death. There are several empty rooms or platforms, lacking original item spawns or jump pads. There's a reason why I don't consider this a drawback. ;) |

Are you asking about how to download the .bsp or how to import the .bsp into VOXED for later editing? Also, which episode are you hinting at? |
