One thing that needs to be... well... not added but changed, is the size of the sight picture. Right now we can't do much with it. It really should cover the whole screen so that we can make scopes and dot sights. It wouldn't be unfair, because right now the most effective sight (a simple dot) is already possible.

What do you mean meh? You don't want people to have nice looking sights? Cuz right now bad looking but perfect functionality sights are available.

Thats what i use currently, i wish i could do a full scope though. Until then ill just have to stick with this

I agree. Currently my AR15 weapon pack is on hold, because the ACOG variant won't have a proper sight, nor the Eotech 552 version, nor the Aimpoint version.

The models are all finished, but without that ability of being able to make proper sights, I won't even continue working on them.

this is a must cuz when i try to make a ironsight look like the real thing, i cant. i have to lower the sight down resulting fat sights

They still need a lot more work, but the basic shape is there.

I like the original Iron Sights just fine. I just decided to edit in a RedDot instead.
