Is there a search function? I didn't see one, and yes, I do play on Windows. |

It is ok I guess as long as you are aware of it. But forums are no quick chat and deserve a bit more thought since more people will be reading it... As far as the name changing goes mister specs... go read the readme before you come back with hundreds of questions more... seriously... it is easier to open the readme and actually read but instead you choose to go to the website, create an account and open a new topic? a f this, here is the readme... make sure you read it all before you annoy more people...

Someone else downloaded it on my comp, and they didn't know how to change it either, so I had no idea there was a readme. So, instead of just helping out a newcomer, you had to be a prick, say my thread was annoying, and THEN tell me how to do it. You didn't have to help, if it was so annoying. If someone asked you a question, in real life, say at work, that might be well-known by everyone else, would you call them annoying for asking a question? Don't judge, it may be the Internet, but that doesn't require you to be rude to newcomers. Don't give this game a reputation of having elitist players and keep other people from wanting to play, it's rather fun, and the more the merrier. Thanks anyways. >_> |

Someone seems a bit irritated...and if you go to the start menu where you find the shortcut the readme is actually in there... and even if you overlooked that I don't think you are the first with that problem... so the reason I am a prick is because I know for a fact that you are not the first on with this problem. I know for a fact the questions has been answered before. So I know for a fact that a bit of searching would have given you the answer. So basically why I was a prick is because you clearly didn't try to solve it but just posted such a basic question it had to be answered before... and yet you didn't search for it. the reason I still gave the answer was because I have some small hope someone will search and find the answer and because of that doesn't post the question AGAIN... So no elitist just tired of people not trying... |

Being a newcomer doesn't prevent you from reading the readme-file and using the search-feature first before asking a question on the forum. Don't expect to get nice answers when you didn't take your 2-sec to get the answer by yourself. Why should we waste ours? |
