So this gun is purely fictional and since I'm no rifleman, probably not even very effective IRL or made not even functional. It can't hold 10 round in tiny magazine that's for sure. Just wanted to make gun fitting my personality. Also, very interesting thing is, ironsights are almost completely natural - that means sights are straight from gun model and only modification made on them is white paint, because front sight voxels are too wide. Quite bulky, so if you're red dot quy you might find them disgusting and useless. And name. Some random letters and numbers, that will do it. Thought it'd be fun when I let you name it. |

@Green_Beret: I was a bit short on time and blues were too lazy to get in our territory... Thus I had to take screengrab while aiming at you :/ |

Looks like Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) for me. Very good, seems like first gun mod from this forum I'll use. (before I used SWAT pack, too bad it's not compatible anymore) |

Why people make such a unclear ironsights? Here is my own made, took 2 minutes to do and its the best ironsight there is, http://www.mediafire.com/?x9gayitsddeb606 It should work for every weapon, it is clear to use, you see everything and you kill |

Yeah but I try to make mods for pros, not noobs. |

I don't understand how it is "pro". Maybe you could explain me. |

He means Ironsights that are actually ironsights, not just a dot or point to aim at. If you want people to download your sights, Brigadier, you probably shouldn't say that your 2 minute job is 'the best ironsight there is.' Did you try every sight made so far before reaching that conclusion? |

To explain that: Nooby players can't use normal realistic ironsights because they block their view, so they use red dots and scopes that don't block their target AND they have hitpoint obvious as fuck. I prefer realism and fun. Shooting people using four lines not even blocking your view is as fun and realistic as aimbot to me. |

"I prefer realism and fun." You think Ironsights are realistic? Ha, good joke... Some of us don't like ironsights out of personal preference buddy, not because they're new to it. If I want one sixth of my vision blocked off, I'll put a book in front of my monitor, thanks. Aiming worked perfectly fine before Ironsights came into games, and shock horror, some simply prefer it the old way. |

"you think Ironsights are realistic? Ha, good joke..." I know. It's hilarious, because it's true. IRL, soldiers HAVE to use them. They don't get to decide they want a crosshair instead of the sights. They need scopes. So you should get over it. |

Well, I never said you HAVE to use ironsights. I said they are realistic and more fun. And if you don't like fun or realism, don't use them. |

Oh I love my fun. That's why I DON'T use ironsights. Really, Coolio? You think that when you look down the sights of a weapon, your vision is somehow magnified 4x? That you can sidestep and move around whilst maintaining a perfectly steady firing line? That provided you are looking down the sights, the shot you fire will be as dead accurate as a damn laser beam, and with no bullet drop in most games? That aiming below a target, and then snapping the gun up and firing on the fly is a viable tactic for accurate long range shooting in real life? That recoil from firing doesn't waver your eye a fraction from that one position needed for the sights to work? And that, when you are looking down the sights, there is absolutely no way you can see around the ginormous black hulk of the gun... like maybe opening your other eye in real life? They aren't realistic at all, and furthermore they are MORE annoying to use than using the sights of an unscoped weapon in REAL LIFE. Crosshairs know they aren't realistic, so they instead just focus on providing smooth gameplay, which allows you to get on with actually having that fun. |

Are you serious?! You're trying to say that when you align sights... Gun disappears and only thing you see is one little red dot? AND you're even implying that's REALISTIC? Also, if games were about doing everything easy way, you would be able to noclip with godmode. Then simply go to enemy territory, get intel and take it back to tent. Is that fun? Certainly not. People who make CoD think same way as you. Is CoD popular? Yes. All 10 years old american kids play it. Older people find it silly and not challenging nor realistic enough. Oops, I think I just came to a very weird conclusion about you... |

next time read the whole post, buddy: Crosshairs know they aren't realistic, so they instead just focus on providing smooth gameplay, which allows you to get on with actually having that fun. At no point whatsoever did I imply crosshairs were realistic. I have no idea how you got to that conclusion. And crosshairs are unobtrusive, not an 'easy way' to play. What you're saying is like somebody saying that driving a car without a sun shade blocking the windscreen is driving 'the easy way'. For crying out loud- someone says they don't like their lower center screen blocked off and suddenly you think it's all god mode and no clipping? Get real, there's more to life than black and white extremes. By the way, if I think the same way as those who make COD, could you please explain to me why COD always has, and probably always will, have ironsights? If anything, it's your thinking that is closer to that than anything I've said. If you're assuming I'm a COD loving 10 year old American you're wrong...wrong, and... wrong again. You can keep your COD- when I want realism I'll stick to Operation Flashpoint, thanks. |

Well, you said ironsights are unrealistic and they don't make any sense, and that we should instead use crosshairs. But we can't use them on guns with no scope. And in fact, we can't use them on any gun, because no guns work like that - you have either scope or ironsight. Only gun that has plain crosshair feature is probably this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RaubAtWZQM And unfortunately, there is no kv6 mod for that one. So yeah. Whenever you use crosshair, it's unrealistic.
We are talking about games, not real life. Fun fact: There is no driving simulator with sun shades and sunset/sunrise blinding you is common in videogames. Why do developers do it? What do you think? CoD was simple example of extremely easy and unrealistic game, not game with ironsights. It's boring, not inovative and money sucking series where everything that could possibly suck sucks. |

"Well, you said ironsights are unrealistic and they don't make any sense, and that we should instead use crosshairs." That's true, I did say that, and it still doesn't imply that I'm saying crosshairs are realistic. I'll repeat my quote again: "Crosshairs know they aren't realistic, so they instead just focus on providing smooth gameplay, which allows you to get on with actually having fun. " About using crosshairs, you say we can't use them on any guns because they don't work like that. You said it yourself- We are talking about games, not real life. Heath packs, regen health and gun magazines that are always topped up aren't realistic either, but games have them because they made the experience more fluid and let you get on with the experience. Crosshairs are the same. They allow you to hit a distant enemy with minimum hassle, instead of trying to handle the awkward default ironsights like you're trying to peek over a fridge or something. I'm not saying everyone should be forced to use crosshairs, just that we shouldn't all be forced to use ironsights. By complaining that crosshairs give a player an advantage over someone using ironsights, ironsight advocates are just showing how much better crosshairs are as a system. |

" DruryQuote:"To explain that: Nooby players can't use normal realistic ironsights because they block their view, so they use red dots and scopes that don't block their target AND they have hitpoint obvious as fuck." No, a gaming pro takes every legal advantage they can to ensure they have top/same advantage. Your use of the words noob and pro is as retarded as the rest of your logic. DruryQuote:"People who make CoD think same way as you. Is CoD popular? Yes. All 10 years old american kids play it. Older people find it silly and not challenging nor realistic enough.
