ok.... so ive gotten 3d objects converted from .3ds to .vox...... and i see how to import them into Voxel.... but how do you export it? How do you get it from .Vox to .Vxl so that you can play it as a map???? |

Convert the 3ds to kv6 via command line and then to kvx in slab6. After that you can insert it in voxed to get the vxl. |

Alt + F3 to export as .vxl from VOXED. Also, you can convert .3ds directly to .kvx by Poly2Vox. |

So im still running into one issue... i have the model that i wanted, placed in a map... saved it... now when i run a server and join up, the map looks nothing like what i saved... more like a black map with a wierd reddish bar at the top(maybe something in conversion got messed up) and when i get close enough to see it render on screen, i crash. |

That's because of the AoS lighting. It treats everything on the top as superbright and then blocks directly beneath it get darker and darker. Also fag makes it look a little more gloomy and dark. Edit: Oh, I reread your post. Idk really, but maps tend to look darker in a server than in the vox editor. |
