The Facepunch EU server has the ability to run without connecting to the master server, I was wondering if it would be possible to get this server?

If the master server or the servers as a whole are going to be down for a week or two, would it not be an idea for somebody to distribute this, or at least tell us how to do this?

It wouldn't be unfair to anyone because they could look around for a server running the modded exe, or run their own.

as far as I'm aware, no there aren't any servers like FP

@MajorDonut - I am not sure, at the moment it seems like the server is in high demand (it is currently full) because of the master server being offline. You might want to try looking in other Ace of Spades communities to see if they have private servers as well. I haven't, because I'm too lazy lol.

If the Facepunch user who developed this thing wants to release it, all power to him. If he doesn't, oh well. But I'm pretty sure this thing just runs a few PHP scripts on another server, telling the game it's local by editing the hosts file.

Although it stops me from connecting and says "Server Connection Failed: It's either full or misconfigured"

If somebody knows how to spoof the masterserver, speak up!

If you've played on the FP server you might as well be playing on a server that hasn't been reset for years. It's got blocks everywhere and trenches too making it as fun as Team9000 server which is very similar.

Look out for Cpt.Linch on the battlefield chaps, see you there XD

I was aware of that server already. What the community REALLY needs is the server program running there, so that we can still end up with a couple of servers running rather than everyone trying to get into a single one.

Is there anyone here who can contact that server's host and see if they'll release the standalone version? I don't have a FP account myself (or not that I know of anyway)

Um guys, a few thing, when I said see you on the battlefield chaps Dynasty. It's what my great grandpa said before he went to war in WWII, he came back and live a few months to tell my family so it's a little thing I say, means nothing and also. Galaxy its suspicious that you can play and write at the same time and you said how you wanted to join the server, suspicious joking you're lieing dude. Oops my mistake looking at the wrong guy. LOL
