As a Game Server host. I know what games are like. This is what you all should expect from this game. First. Server side is getting recoded. This is a good thing. Ben has made a basic game. Now he is developing it more by making the code, newer. So as of many game servers. What you are going to see is server variables. HostName My Epic AOS Server Team balance. On / Off PLUGINS anti-grief serveradmin ( Plugins are massive, They enable users to developer servers. This is a MUST! ) That is what I see coming from the server side development of this game. You might not like it but I guarantee you this is going to happen. If you feel like I might have missed something, please say @Jackster to get my attention. I never want to see this game have a win condition. Why would you want the map to reset when you spend so many hours modifying it for your team's benefit? It's a very zen game, currently. You can just keep killing and building forever, and you know which team is winning, and they can be winning forever. Until the server inevitably resets or the game updates, of course. |

Eventually maps get unplayable. Just because you want to keep it does not mean others do. This is why I said that you could turn it off as that option would more than likely be added. |

Team Balance is a bad idea. You can already grab all of those Variables. And create them. It would be nice to change the port number though. |

Also, ServerPass "password" would also be great. And on the connect page to have if the server is password protected or not. |

How do maps get unplayable? I'd like to see some enforced standardization in this game to a degree, so that this doesn't succumb to the syndrome of all old online multiplayer FPS games where it is impossible to find a vanilla server. Since /v/ is doing their hardest to make this very new game very old, this doesn't seem unfathomable. |

Again, you can create "ServerPass" if you know how. The Team Balance is a bad idea because of this scenario: Bob: "Let's Play Ace of Spades Bill! We can be on the same team!" (In-game) Bob: "Come Green." (Auto-balance) Bob: "Wtf, now I'm Blue." |

Private servers are great for LAN and just people who don't want to have lots of people on their server. Invite only type of thing. I do see it happening as a party type of system. |

Team balance would be good because sometimes there's the situation where you have everyone joining one team, and then it gets wildly unbalanced. |

I think the registration system would be in place by then. I know a lot of people are BOOOing it but it is the way to go. |

We need team balance, and a forced reset after like 4 hours would be good. sometimes one side becomes too entrenched to ever get past. |

@Lexsym, Not all servers will have it. As I said before. All servers will have different configs. it depends on the server owner and how they want their server to act. |
