I hate dry, hot weather. It's so depressing seeing endless clear skies every single day. I know that sounds stupid, but when you live in the desert, you almost want to believe in some kind of rain god and make sacrifices to it in order to get decent rainfall.

I would make all the sacrifices necessary, if that were the case.

It snowed in the summer once were I live.

It must not get that hot there, then. It snowed on the Strip here last winter, and then two years before that, and then before that, the last time we had snow in Las Vegas was when I was 9 years old.

I've been in Vegas visiting my grandma once during summer, I tried to take the garbage out barefoot but I had to sprint because the pavement was so damn hot.

It rains a lot in Vancouver, and it's mostly partly sunny during summer. It's actually pretty nice.
