When .54 first came out, reports of custom SMG sights indicated that there was a glitch that lead to inaccuracy. To stay on the safe side, I've kept all default models, but I haven't heard of anyone talking about this issue for some time. Was it resolved? |

BOOM made a more accurate scope that I use. The center dot was off. |

Everyone just got used to it, I think. Also, it's not just the SMG, the semi has it as well. Shifts your .png southwest by 1 pixel. |

Yeah I use the semi and they're all off. |

Spengbab: So did it become standard to off-center the dot by a pixel to compensate? Or did that not work? |

Although that would've been the best way to go about with the whole thing, I never went through with it, only because I missed way more when I did it that way. However, the target.png is centered (I think), so all you would have to do is modify your scope/sight so that it's matched up with the target.png when you ADS. In order to check the alignment, just spam right-click so that the two dots overlap eachother on the center of the screen. I think that works. |
