After colored fog came out maps started to look so much more bad ass. And in the first few seconds I had the idea of adding video filters to the game. That would bring so many more possible features.

For the people who are looking at this and thinking: "What the hell are filters?" Well, it is like special effects for how an image comes out. A few examples would be inverted colors, gray scale, film grain, neon coloring, and outlines. These can turn a normal picture into an epic one.

What I suggest is to ease into the filters. Instead of throwing in a ton of filters no one would use, add a few as options and see how people like them. I would add gray scale, film grain, and outlines first and then add others if people like and use them.

I am interested in what you guys think. Post below your thoughts on the filters idea.

Awesome. I think a few filters should start off: Orange, green, and purple, including the three you said. This would probably help make the fog match what you see better.

It's called 'setting'. It sets 'mood'. For example- Red lighting feels gruff and brutal, while light blue could make for peaceful, possibly neutral lighting. Thus, also effects the way you play.

You mad bro? All I am suggesting is to add effects like gray scale (Black and white) and film grain (Makes the screen a little fuzzy, like an old movie.)

I don't think I am throwing out anything that would be too much of a change. Adding effects to the game can make map making more in depth. A lot of maps look a lot cooler now the the fog can be colored.

Also, the key word in my first post is option, this would be turned on if an admin turns it on. I don't think this should fill you with rage, I think you should calm down and think over what was said.

Just saying, what would make the mortars and helicopters cool would be how they look. So saying that the graphics are useless is not true.

I like the idea of helicopters and mortars, and my filter idea can co-exist with them. There is no need to throw a fit because someone wants graphics and interface added.
