God of war 1/2.
GTA sanandreas/vicecity (both are good).
WWE (the multiplayer is awsome when you play together with a friend).
Shadow of Rome (guts limbs and buckets of blood everywhere = awesome).
Final fantasy XII if your into that kinda thing.

The lastest game i got that was kickass was the old 2006 Shadow the Hedgehog for ps2,

Tha's one badass hedgehog, screw sonic now.

Mercenaries play ground of destruction- Another good sandbox game
