First off, I'm against complicating this game too much- I think its beauty is in its simplicity, and how interacting with other players and mutilating the landscape add new dynamics to the game- but I do have a suggestion.

If you pull the pin of a grenade, it should explode, even if you die before you get to throw it. It infuriates me when I've pulled the pin off of my 'nade and I am two feet from a wad of soldiers (in a tower, for instance) only to be killed before I can get the throw off.

I agree, would love this feature.
