Hope you are doing OK, and got through everything.

I live in hawaii, and have done disaster relief quite a few times now. I know first hand how lame things can be after a hurricane. After INIKI i lived in a tent city for almost a month before getting into a destroyed building with a semi functional roof i later fixed with beer crates, and tarps. (empty beer crates of cource!)
Lots of survival stuff, and oddly, I was never tempted to drink my own piss like the TV survival guys.

Guys, the hurricane isn't funny. I live in a farming community near the coast of NC and
some farmers lost entire years worth of income and their homes to Irene. Two men were killed not 15 miles from where I live

Ben died. The sooner we accept this the sooner we can move on with our lives. I know it hurts but you guys need to get out of denial. He is dead. Period

I think that if RoT made the game, it would be a lot cooler.

Voxlap is a free engine to use if you follow the licence. Some other dude made a wolfenstein 3d remake with it.

All the hard work is done, all you guys have to do is add your own code, compile, PROFIT!!

There are a few other voxel engines out there if you look hard enough. Not all of them make blocky huge maps, some of them are really high res, so it seems like you are really digging in dirt.

I think voxlap is pretty impressive even today.
