Cpowa, all you do is trash people that disagree with you. Calling people that disagree idiots makes you look like one. I disagree. These graphics and this engine are just perfect for me.

It's a pretty sweet engine. The only downside is it would take an age to generate a large map on today's hardware. As he mentioned in his video "Terrain Destruction", that small scene took several hours to generate. Imagine how long it would take to generate an AoS-sized world.

In the future, I hope that engines like that come to the forefront of gaming, as polygons don't allow such fine detail of destruction as voxels. I like in his engine that each voxel has a material assigned to it and each material has a strength, such as how the plaster is easier to destroy than the brick, how the sand is destroyed by the vehicle moving over it but rocks are not, etc.

I don't think his engine has physics yet, as he didn't showcase it in his destruction video and seemed to try to not leave any floating voxels when destroying the building, but I'm sure that wouldn't be too hard to implement.

And this doesn't belong in AoS in my opinion - I think this shall just stay as blocky, no need for fancy graphics nor this physics system here.
