Im glad you guys added an SMG. It will cut down on the amount of kids who think they can snipe and will now just Spray n' Pray.

Ben lives in New York City I believe. I live in the same Time Zone as him so I'm also on "day 28" (if that means June 28th, "day 28" sounds like some zombie shit or something).

I just played to 32 kills on a mostly-new vanilla server and had a blast. Played against a bunch of marksmen and newbs... anyone who couldn't hit another player at fog distance was duly slaughtered by me, but I got told a few times by enemies on far-away hillsides who knew how to aim.

So an SMG might not do those kiddies much good anyway. Still, better that Ben errs on the side of caution. Plus, I have yet to actually get my hands on one. I think I'll force myself to play at least an hour exclusively with the SMG when it comes out just to get a good idea of what it's like.

i shall use gregerys Bern LMG as a SMG maybe.

I have a bunch of models I made back before SMGs in AoS were no more than the fantasy of some CoD kiddies. They were all for the semi, but I made all different kinds of small arms just for the heck of it. I've already got about half a dozen machine-guns skins to try out.

I'm also pondering making an MP-5 ironsight. It's just about perfect for this.

The MP5 iron sight has already been made and used in the SMG. SO you dont have to make the iron sights. Also the SMG is an MP5. I already got my TF2 skins ready and a shit ton more!

@Trizzaxx: Yes, the gun is based off of an MP5, but those sights aren't quite the signature MP-5 apeture concentric ring ironsights. I was talking about possibly making a true-to-life MP5 apeture sight pattern.
