i really do not think the 3D zelda games are very good, the best one I think is a link to the past, also probably one of the best games i have played. |

LttP is the best top-down Zelda. Windwaker is the best Zelda of all time though. |

Strangely the two that come to mind first are both Star Wars games- the first was Rebel Assault. It was like X-wing but on rails with pre-rendered backgrounds. Looked awful, played awful. The second one was Shadows of the Empire. It tried throwing everything including the kitchen sink into the gameplay and as a result nothing was polished. The first level in the Snowspeeder was amazing (and all I played before I bought it) but Rogue Squadron evolved that later anyway. The rest was pretty bad. There was also this PC game called Titanic: Adventure out of Time- it was meant to be a puzzle solving mystery game, but then, despite taking deliberate steps to avoid it, I was confronted by a man and shot dead. Well screw you too, game. |

"LttP is the best top-down Zelda. Windwaker is the best Zelda of all time though." windwaker is like my 5th favorite zelda....too much time wasted sailing and that bull crap cushion treasure hunt, and if you take that out its even shorter than MM. |

Worst MMO I've ever tried: FLYFF. Took 2 hours to download, played for 15 minutes and uninstalled. Was seriously the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and I've seen some dumb shit. Does anybody here play Mabinogi? I have an account on there but I don't play because I have nobody to play with. And the userbase is literally so old, nobody is a low level anymore, so there are really no people my level to play with, other than alts, who are already professionals at the game, basically. It's a pretty fun game though for the most part, with one of the most unique combat systems I've ever seen on an MMO. And it's free. @Fluttershy: The equipment and battle mechanics more than make up for the sailing, which I didn't think was that bad, honestly. The grappling hook was second only to the dual claw-shot in Twilight Princess for coolest goddamn piece of equipment ever. |

@Spengy: Yes that's one of it's downfalls, and you have to buy a mount with IRL cash, but it's still pretty fun. I don't have a mount yet. :) |

Battle: Los Angeles For PS3. You pay $10 for it and it's only 1 hour long. On hardest difficulty. And it has no multiplayer. And the unlockables aren't that good. It does have easy trophies though. |

oh yeah, i played the demo for that game. i thought it wasn't too bad, and was actually thinking about getting it for a few minutes, but i decided that it would probably be a waste. if the people who made it gave the guns louder noises, recoil, maybe some more interesting combat, it might be pretty good. the biggest problem for me was that the shooting was very boring, it didn't seem like your gun had any power at all, and it was kind of strange/ |

My only issue with it was length. For example, let's compare it to Battlefield 1943. Both are $10 and FPS, but 1943 has a very high quality to it, along with a higher amount of replayability. BLA on the other hand has an hour long single-player, no multiplayer, and the unlockables are just extras that you could just get from the DVD. |

Idk if this counts, since it's free to play, but Combat Arms would be the worst game i ever played. I mean, the gameplay and graphics arent bad, but they give you so many advantages for buying in game stuff with irl money that if you dont have it, you get steamrolled by people that do.Don't forgot that most of the Combat Arms community are assholes anyway that yell "HACKER" and votekick you everytime you kill them. |

I can't think of any at the moment. I have a limited list of games, and if I buy any today it would be because I hear a lot of agreeably good things about it. I was fortunate to not have any really crappy games for my retro consoles as well, or I learned to love them anyway. |

i forgot about combat arms. i never played it, but it always looked like a terrible game, especially when they added the whole "nut shot" thing, it just made me not want to play it even more |

@Kaede-chan Sorry. But OoT is the best zelda game of all time. Not to mention while WW was good, it was rushed, and therefore the final stretch of the game was very sparse with dungeons and the whole thing with finding triforce pieces felt thrown together. There was supposed to be 3 more dungeons before the final dungeon, but no. The game is almost an epic game because of that. On the other hand OoT had no glaring issues with the pacing or narrative. Still has one of the best original soundtracks in ANY videogame of all time, and received far more acclaim then WW did. p.s. Zelda 2 wasn't THAT hard. Try playing ninja gaiden or silver surfer on the nes. I see now why we NEED critics, its so people will listen to their educated opinions about good media (from an objective, technical standpoint) instead of people with bad opinions (because I am seeing a lot of good/great games getting bashed for STUPID reasons) |

>OoT is the best Zelda of all time Take off the nostalgia goggles. It wasn't that good. @Speng: Dark Link (in zelda 2) was easy, but the actual boss flat out cheats. |
